Summer guided walking tours in Oulu

Culture, ghosts and strange fates! The themed walking tours offer stories about Oulu; fascinating tales of the city's history and culture, and a wealth of information about modern-day Oulu. The tours are organised in cooperation with the accredited Oulu Region Guides Association, the City of Oulu Tourist Information Centre and Go Arctic Ltd.

The ticket price is €12.90. Tickets for the tours can be purchased in advance at the Tourist Information Centre in the Kauppahalli or online. The online shop can be found below in the Additional Information section. Tours are available in both Finnish and English. The tours last 2 hours and always start at 18.00.

Themes and dates of the Finnish language tours 2025:

The Great Love Walk: tues 24.6., fri 1.8. and tues 12.8.
Hupisaarten trees: tues 1.7., fri 18.7. and tues 26.8.
Criminal Walk (K-18): fri 4.7., fri 25.7., fri 8.8. and tu 19.8.
Ghosts and strange fates: Fri 11.7., Tue 5.8., Fri 15.8. and Fri 29.8.
Statues tell the story: tues 15.7.
Literature for all: Tue 22.7.
City of Islands: tu 29.7. and fri 22.8. Departure point: Toripolliisi

Meeting point: Franzen Park at 18.00, except City of Islands: meeting point at the Toripolliisi statue on the Market Square, 18.00.
